Buono is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management, grant procurement, organizational leadership, and business management with an extensive background in strategic planning, program evaluation, and data analysis. He has effectively managed various projects and initiatives, ensuring their successful execution and evaluation for reporting and quality assurance.
In his current role, Buono has been instrumental in driving strategic planning and procurement initiatives. His proficiency in contracting and credentialing has made him a reliable and vital liaison with managed care organizations and health plans. Additionally, he has overseen the Quality Improvement and Data Departments, effectively managing data control, planning, information technology, and coordination of electronic health records.
Buono received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany, a Masters of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology with a focus on Organizational Leadership from the same school, having completed all requirements except for dissertation, with an estimated completion date of this year.
